Strands, A Fiber Fashion Showcase, features fiber art designers who exhibit their handmade crochet and knit fashions and accessories. The aim of this show is to expose our art form to a wider audience and get people interested in wearing and purchasing crochet and knit fashion and accessories on a regular basis.

In our 6th year, the 2023 show will be held in the Performance Art Theater at Southwest Arts Center in Atlanta, GA on Sunday, March 19, 2023.

This fashion event includes a phenomenal showcase, handmade Artisan Bazaar, exclusive Buyer’s boutique, entertainment, fabulous food & beverage options, prizes, and more.

Each designer will have 5-6 minutes to showcase their line (minimum of 10 pieces, maximum of 15). Models will be provided. You are welcome to bring your own. The model call will be held in January 2023.

In addition to the fashion show. We are seeking designers to submit their work to be displayed in the Gallery of the theatre from March 19 to April 2023. There is no cost to be included in the exhibit, however, priority is given to fashion show designers.

There are multiple ways to participate in #Strands2023. 1) Designer in fashion show. 2) Designer in fashion show and artisan selling in your own vendor space. 3&4) 1 or 2 and gallery exhibit. 5) Gallery exhibit only.

Registration closes 11.11.22. Participants will be selected by the end of November 2022. Invoices will go out with approval letters. No payments will be taken with the submission of this form. Designer Fee can be paid in installments until January 15, 2023.
